Raquel + Derek // A Hayes Valley Engagement

Derek and Raquel are getting married this weekend, so I figured this was the perfect opportunity to share their engagement photos! I had such a blast that evening with them, just exploring their Hayes Valley neighborhood and snapping away. I never know what I’m going to get when I shoot in San Francisco—there’s always a new mural around the corner, a new coffee shop or cafe to try, and unique old architecture to photograph.

These two are so at ease with one another, their relationship so comfortable and quiet, even with their obvious strong personalities. I think they must balance each other in all the best ways. I can’t wait to see them on their wedding day, and capture the sweet joy they’ll share as they bring their lives together.
