Light and Lavender // France

While I was in France, I stayed at a beautiful 19th century chateau in the rolling vineyards of the wine region near Cognac. I had a private room with a connecting bathroom, which had the most lovely clawfoot tub. One morning, inspiration struck and I decided to take advantage of the heavenly window light, asking my friend Brooke model for me in the water. We picked lavender from around the garden, filled the tub with warm milky water, and I started shooting.

It was exactly what I needed to get my inspiration back. Keep an eye out for another shoot I did with Brooke in the chateau, coming soon!
