Jaimi & Mike // Anniversary Adventure in Alaska

Three years ago, I shot some engagement photos for a couple when I was at school in Idaho. They were such a sweet couple, totally natural in front of my camera, and they put up with my amateur shooting and directing style. Thankfully, I came away with some fun photos that I was proud of, and they were happy with them as well. Always a good thing ;)

Flash forward to a couple of months ago when I announced I would be in Anchorage in May shooting a wedding, and this same couple, Jaimi and Mike, reached out to me again. They were living in Alaska for the summer, and wanted some anniversary photos in their new home state. I quickly agreed to do it, knowing we could create some beautiful memories for them in this beautiful landscape. 

 Jaimi and Mike were just as fun to spend time with as I remembered. We ventured into mountains, overlooked sloping alpine valleys, and warily watched a moose that wandered a bit too close for my comfort. These two laughed and played and smooched, and I had a blast capturing it all in such a beautiful place.
