Alisa + Ben // A Timeless Forest Wedding
This wedding was one of the craziest, most last-minute, and most meant-to-be weddings of my entire career. I got a text just a couple of days prior to their day, from a frantic photographer telling me there had been a fluke in scheduling and Ben + Alisa's wedding had accidentally been booked for the wrong date, and this photographer was not available to shoot it. As if destiny had planned it, I was available for the weekend, and so I took on the day, and--man oh man--am I so happy I did. Ben and Alisa and all of their stylish friends and family had the most epic celebration, and I am still so honored to have been a part of it all. My friend and fellow photographer Kris was also able to join me to assist on the day, and he was a lifesaver.
This whole day was so effortless and breathtaking. Ben and Alisa made it even better by being some of the kindest, most gracious people I have ever met. I can see just how much fun they have together and how adventurous their lives are--even just in the time between their wedding and now, they've traveled across the world together through Europe and Asia!
Alisa is as beautiful as her heart is pure, and when she smiles her whole face lights up. Her eye for decor is spectacular--just wait til you see the gorgeousness she put into every element of the day! Ben is not only one of the coolest people I have ever met--he travels the world with his band and is incredibly talented--but his joy is contagious. Together, they created an incredible wedding day, and it was obvious how much they are loved by the many people who came to celebrate with them. Plus, I've never seen so many stylish people in one place before! That music industry, man...
The florals were breathtaking, and the styling by Lennie of B-Side Farm and Florals was impeccable. Just look at that floral masterpiece that Ben and Alisa got married beneath!
