Andrea + John // A Bernal Heights Hills Engagement

Andrea and John are the actual definition of dream clients. They were so thoughtful when they were planning their engagement session, and they wanted to avoid doing something that didn’t speak to their relationship and love story. Since they had built their life in and around Bernal Heights in San Francisco, they suggested that taking some photos around the sloping streets, in some of their favorite shops, would be a good idea. Needless to say, I emphatically agreed—I love when my clients are thoughtful about their sessions and really make them their own. They wanted me to tell their story, not someone else’s. Talk about a big HELL YEAH.

We decided to walk around the streets of Bernal Heights, and then make a short hike up the hill to take in the city views over San Francisco. That evening’s sunset was everything we all could have hoped for, and the golden rays of light seemed to permeate every inch of the city far below. Andrea and John are so clearly deep in love, and it didn't take much to get them kissing and cuddling like I wasn’t even there—just how I like it (yeah I know this makes me seem like a creep, whatever). I could’ve photographed these two lovers forever. <3
