Heather + Kevin // A Stylish Los Angeles Wedding
This day was too good to be true.
Heather and Kevin crafted one of the prettiest and most thoughtful days I’ve seen in some time—complete with personal, artistic touches in decor, perfectly picked venues, and surrounded with so much love that it was felt deeply by everyone in attendance.
We started our day at the historic Hotel Normandie in Downtown LA, and it was the perfect spot for their time getting ready before the ceremony. The Hotel Normandie is a historic boutique hotel, built in 1926 in the Wilshire district. The architects, Albert R Walker and Percy Eisen, chose to design and build it in the Renaissance Revival style, and that look and feel lent perfectly to the quiet elegance of Heather and Kevin’s day.
From there we went to the venue, a beautiful modern spot called Seventh Place just outside of DTLA. The ceremony was so beautiful, and made sweeter still by a live string trio which played as Heather walked down the aisle with her father. Heather and Kevin exchanged rings and united their separate lives into one, and the rest of the evening flowed like a fine wine. The guests danced and celebrated into the evening, while twinkle lights shined above.
