Andrea + John // A Los Altos Wedding at Pitchetti Winery
This blog post is looooong overdue. While unfortunately I’m not able to blog every single wedding and every single session I shoot, this is one I’ve been meaning to get around to for some time. I figure the six month anniversary of my last wedding of 2019 is just the right time ;)
Andrea and John’s wedding day felt like one of those dreams you wake up from, and it’s so good that you just kind of lie there, hoping you’ll fall back to sleep so you can enjoy more of it. They planned everything so perfectly, put so much of their love and lives and stories into the day, and it was so obvious through every moment and every detail. They chose the prettiest sky blue, blush pink and eucalyptus green for their colors, and it gave the decorations so much life and color.
They had a beautiful catholic ceremony in a historic church in Los Altos, and then took a vintage blue party bus to the winery where they hosted their reception dinner under the most gorgeous sunset. Picchetti Winery spoke deeply to their relationship, because they had spent many picnic days at the winery as their relationship blossomed, and they wanted their family to love the place just as much. Each guest was given a beautiful antique teacup at their table, which Andrea and John had collected to symbolize their love for morning tea, and then we absolutely danced the night away—something that I never knew I’d miss so much.
I feel so grateful I was able to capture this day and this big love between Andrea and John. Thank you to this incredible team of vendors who created magic, and to my second-shooter Anna who danced her heart out right alongside me!
