Michaela & Kelsey || Salt Lake City

A few weeks ago, on a last minute whim, I decided to get together with two friends of mine from my college days! These two lovely ladies went with me to Europe back in 2012, and I remember exploring the streets of Paris, Florence, and Vienna with them like it was yesterday.

They both have certainly come into their own since those days, and I knew I wanted to do a city fashion shoot with them to show off their unique and edgy individual styles. So, we grabbed a quick bite to eat at the local bakery, and then headed into the city to shoot in the chilly afternoon.

I was meeting the couple from my last post only an hour later, so we didn't have a lot of time to shoot, but these two certainly brought their A-game. I'm so happy we had the chance to get together and catch up, and now I have some new work for my fashion portfolio to boot ;)

Aren't these girls GORGEOUS?? I couldn't get over it. In a city as clean as Salt Lake, there wasn't much "grunge" to be found, but the brick buildings and moody skies made the perfect setting for us that day.

As we walked, we found the most amazing graffiti wall I have ever seen. The painted colors were so bright and luscious that I couldn't help wanting to shoot in front of them. The art was amazing--albeit a little creepy...as you can see below ;)

Lastly, Michaela and I decided to climb up a fire escape to get some shots above ground level. What a view!

Michaela and Kelsey, thanks for being such amazing models for me! You are both gorgeous and I hope I get to see you again soon :) I'm very sure I will.
