Eric & Charleston // Cincinnati Skyline Wedding
Ohhh this wedding. Where to even begin?
I try not to choose favorites, but man this wedding is definitely in my top tier of favorite weddings I've ever shot! I traveled to Cincinnati for the first time, after having received an email from a sweet girl telling me about her June wedding in the city. Everything she told me about her special day made me more and more excited to shoot it, and before long I was hooked and booked!
Eric and Charlie are some of the sweetest humans I have ever met. I spent my first night in Ohio, included in with their closest family and friends, eating a Cincinnati favorite--Skyline Chilli (spaghetti noodles with chilli and cheese on top). I was instantly welcomed into the family, as though I had been there all along.
The next day, the day of the wedding, was just as special, meaningful, and family-centered. Charlie's veil was handmade by her mother, almost all of the vendors were friends of the family, and all the bridesmaids and groomsmen received special gifts. The rest of the day felt like a blur; it was one of the hottest days of the year, but it couldn't have dawned more beautiful.
It was one of the most special and God-centered weddings I have ever had the privilege to shoot. From the handwritten vows, to the freely spilling tears during the wedding ceremony (just wait til you see the groom's face *I die*), to the gorgeous sunset beneath the Roebling Bridge--a prototype for the Brooklyn Bridge in NYC--and all the way into the night, as the newly married couple danced beneath fireworks.
